Challenge!

Okay, I'm running on two hours' sleep and without triple-checking my results here, so bear with me and comment if I've made any stupid mistakes...

As per a small and informal poll I took last evening in chat, by way of trying to mix things up between the various individuals, pairings and OT5's we've got running around this game, I present to you all the following challenge:

Listed below are pairs of not-entirely-randomly-selected, believed-to-be-active characters who, to my knowledge, have absolutely nothing in common and no reason to interact whatsoever, and where possible, have never been documented to have laid eyes on each other before.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: get with the player of the character you're paired with and come up with a reason for your characters to meet, then do a thread about it. It can be public or private, in NO or OO, involving any situation you like. The only restrictions are that you cannot mess up anybody's continuity, and since this is all about interacting with new people, I would ask that members of an established group or pairing stay out of public threads involving other members of that group (i.e., if one Horseman is doing a public thread for this challenge, the other Horsemen shouldn't post to it; if Crowley's doing one, then Azi, John et. al. should stay out.)

Anyone who is interested in participating, but whose character was accidentally left off the list, or whose partner can't be reached or isn't interested, or if you've already done a bunch of stuff with that person but I somehow missed it, or if you just can't think of a thread idea to save your life, etc., please comment to this thread and we'll get you sorted out somehow.

There is no time limit, so characters not immediately available can still play. The first six people (three pairs) who complete threads for this challenge will get drabbles on the topic of their choice, and the rest of you will get my thanks and congratulations and a new acquaintance for your figments. ;) Please comment to this thread when you finish yours!

Well, the no time limit is certainly a good thing, especially if we can't find a way for Remus and Mictain to meet before Mic comes back from Hell, which might not be happening for quite some time yet...

I think the Luna/Uriel meeting could produce some rather interesting results, though.

Well... Luna expressed interest in Horus earlier. And Uriel told Wednesday that he had sometimes taken the form of a crow. And, just a while ago, Uriel flew with Horus. These all put together, I think it might be possible that Uriel went to fly in an alternative form (perhaps after Pesti and his break-up, to get rid of some of his anger and to sulk) and Luna then found a crow that felt "strange" the same way the hawk in the bar had.

Well the lung cancer would be a topic of mutual interest, I'm sure, though I would think Pollution had a hand in that as well... :) The only other thing I can think of off the top of my head would be the drugged wine, but I don't know how John would find out about that, as Crowley never apparently made the connection or mentioned it to him. Heh, I suppose John might be a bit of a professional affront to Pesti, Pollution and Death, since he really should have been dead some time ago and keeps finding creative ways to get out of it. He's worse than Captain Kirk. XD

Well, Harry's always doing odd jobs around the Manor, so we could have the bump into each other in one of the hallways or suchlike. Harry's also been known to deliver room service, so they could conceivably meet that way.
