It depends on how you view it. He may not be evil, but, sad as it is, he definitely appears to be just that at the moment. >.< Heck, he's nastier than most demons. If he just dropped that attitude of his, he'd be really adorable. I quite liked the pre-manipulation Raphael, but ever since... ::shakes head:: (No offence, Raphael, of course! ^_^')

Well, to each his own. I don't like him, but it's hard to completely DISlike him when so much of what's driving him is exactly the same things motivating my own figment: feeling overmatched and vulnerable and not very useful, guilty over someone else falling in his place, missing a lover who's been lost through his own mistakes, losing sleep to worst-case-scenario nightmares. It makes him quite a challenge to roleplay opposite, as John dearly wants to classify Raphael as The Enemy but can't quite bring himself to treat him as such.
