Hey everyone. I found this after linnpuzzle did an art piece for anthonycrowley and dangeroushabits, and I absolutely adore it. I want to join, but my character is kind of quasi against the rules. So here's my case:

I want to be Joan of Arc.

It all started when I read the Aziraphale coming home thread and the bit about Heaven searching for Michael’s replacement. I think St. Joan is the obvious choice. In life, she was a soldier and commander. More importantly, the voices that spoke to her and told her to fight to free France were St. Michael, St. Catherine, and St. Margaret. I've asked around, and there seems to be some confusion on the subject, but according to some people, St. Michael *is* Michael the Archangel and vice versa. It stands to reason, then, that Michael trained her in tactics, command, and swordplay, making her perfect to take his place. I know RPS is against the rules of this comm, but

a)I'm not writing about the living historical person, this is the theological saint as a metaphysical agent of heaven and

b) I don't really intend to slash her with anyone, unless y'all want me to. I just like her strange mentor-protege relationship with Michael-now-Mictain. She can participate without getting romantically involved with anyone, if that makes the anti-RPSers happier. I'm actually against RPS myself.

I have a lot of ideas for how Joan could interact with the others comm characters, if you want to hear them. So, what do you think? Can Joan and I come play?

Ummm....Pollution? Pestilence? How long exactly is the road trip intended to last. Because over a month has past in game time, and I'd kind of like to dust off Famine and do something with him...and the trip thread is going really slow....yeah. Ideas?
