*grin* Hello, there!
I'm the Doctor. Just the Doctor. I've recently landed here at Tadfield Manor, in my TARDIS -
What? You don't know what the TARDIS is? Or who I am? Okay, I'll explain. I'm nice like that.
I'm not human, even though I look like one, in my pinstripe suit and brown trenchcoat. I'm actually what you'd call an alien; I'm a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey, to be exact. I'm the last of my race around. Why? Well, they all died. There was a great Time War, between the Daleks and my people. (Daleks are one of the worst creatures I've ever encountered. They look a bit like evil pepper-pots. Inside their robotic shell is a what they used to be, a creature whose emotions - such as pity and kindness - are stopped by electricity. They're horrid. They'll exterminate you without a thought). Gallifrey was destroyed. So were the Daleks, although they keep popping up.
I was on the front line, and I'm the only one who survived.
But anyway. Onto lighter subjects! I'm the Doctor. My TARDIS - Time And Relative Dimensions In Space, no, it makes no sense to me either - and I travel the universe, through time and space (it looks like a 1960s blue police box. Its chameleon circuit is broken). I just travel. Sometimes I get caught up in trouble, and then I don't leave until I've sorted it out. I don't fight; my only weapon is my sonic screwdriver, which can do just about anything. Sometimes I take a companion on board. They're usually human, and usually female. (No, I'm not prejudiced! They just usually turn out to be smarter. Sorry, men.)
My last companion - Rose Tyler - is now stuck in a parallel universe, far away from me. I didn't even get to say goodbye. But instead of letting me mope in peace, the TARDIS whisked me away to here, because some of the energy readings I've been getting are pretty unusual.
Thanks for letting me land here! I adore Good Omens, Sandman, Harry Potter... basically, all these wonderful fandoms! I don't have much experience writing RPG, but I hope I won't fail too miserably. Again, thank you! If you want to contact me (me as in me, not me as in the Doctor), my LJ is alys_wonder, and my AIM is AlysOfWonderland.
Thank you!
Yours, the Doctor
