We're still not entirely sure how this will all work, but you will definitely know which bits of back story are being kept and which are not. Probably not much...

As for the formal applications - that is a possibility, I'm afraid. If someone hasn't been posting much but wants to be in the new game, they may end up on a three month probation or something, to prove they can keep up. We're going to be stricter with players this time around, making sure we have good ones with solid goals and that they'll stick around because we've seen what happens when they don't. :p
