*giggle* Yeah, that is a bit much. And, like you say, you can often leave out the 'said' bit entirely, so long as it's still clear who is speaking.
I'm very much looking forward to the next one, whoever wants to post it. I hear John is nearly done with hers... But we all have different styles and to see them explained will be pretty interesting, I think.
