sureyoudothat: Gooood MORNING, class!
saunteredvaguely: Before we start the important things, there are a couple of things I'd like to share.
saunteredvaguely: First, our fangirl put this on her personal journal and I didn't think any of you had seen it. http://darkstar-mearas.livejournal.com/1845.html#cutid1
mynamesnotgabby: omg. I actually saw that this morning. XD Bel and I were like, '*flattered... * o_O'
ineffableangel: *boggled*
ineffableangel: Wow, it is Bohemian Rhapsody. A voice in my head started singing it before I read the intro... wow.
LadySawall: Awww. That's so sweet. :D
sureyoudothat: haha the veggies! The veggies!
mynamesnotgabby: A tribute anthem. ^^
ineffableangel: A fangirl wrote an NO anthem.
(These are random comments that don’t fit elsewhere.)
hopeakaarme: (*has sudden disturbing mental images about Crowley tempting Eve into eating a banana*)
sureyoudothat: How do you have eggs sunny side down?
ineffableangel: (I now have the phrase "Angel Easter Orgy" in my head. The consonance...)
xMessrPadfootx: (xD My inner Poll just went "mmm, Famine.")
CROWLEY/ADAM
saunteredvaguely: Let's keep this simple.
saunteredvaguely: Why don't we just focus on what we're doing this summer in this discussion.
saunteredvaguely: Then we can do bigger plotty things in another chat.
mynamesnotgabby: That's a good idea.
LadySawall: Right. Second-string villain type?
saunteredvaguely: Second-string villain, people's individual goals. I can share mine first if you like.
mynamesnotgabby: Go for it, doll.
saunteredvaguely: All right. I'm hoping to have Crowley meet Sugarplum, spy on Ligur, and confront him about where he got his orders from. Whatever he learns next will guide his future actions... He'll also be trying to find a way to talk to the Metatron and working with Wednesday and maybe Loki to con/bargain with Beel to get John's second soul piece...
mynamesnotgabby: You could get someone to npc the Metatron for you, if you need that part of the plot.
saunteredvaguely: In the meantime there will be tension growing in his relationship with Aziraphale as they try to figure out how they go from being friends to being lovers and discover that it isn't as easy as it seems... Adam is going to stay in the background, though I think he may be needed to help Harry with his amnesia and will be keeping Beelzebub off balance. He can also help out in the hospital wing should Gabs need it. Those are my plans through August or so.
DESTRUCTION/NEWT
sureyoudothat:: Destruction: Art, figuring out that Uriel is pregnant, talking to Odin and/or Urie about said pregnancy, Barnmabas having pet-meetings
LadySawall: Pet meetings. Heh, I like it. XD
sureyoudothat: challenge thread with Ligur...?
sureyoudothat: Newt: Bathroom thread, some sort of solution to the constantly disappearing Ana
mynamesnotgabby: Dreya's supposed to be back around the beginning of July, I think.
LadySawall: We could NPC Ana.
sureyoudothat: Also Newt needs to realise what his power actually means before le final battle. He got close in the thread with John and the tentacle monster: and breaking into odins room
hopeakaarme: Of course, we could always have Mic and Newt scheme something, what with both Ana and Raph being away. :P
LadySawall: Mic and Newt? Egad, there's a disaster waiting to happen. XD
AZIRAPHALE/REMUS
ineffableangel: Um, for Azi...
ineffableangel: Azi and Crowley have plans to figure out their relationship a bit further, as Crowley mentioned. As well, Azi needs to do something about Hermes, because the crush thing is not going to work long-term. He also wants to follow-up on the child thing with Ellie. At one point he also needs to sort out how Up Above is treating him. If he has to turn in a certain soul quota, he's in danger of not meeting it this year since he's in contact with very few people, really. Something has to be done about the bookshop and cleaning up affairs there, I think, but I don't know how to proceed. If you want Azi can drop comments about going to the bookshop ruins (which I think would be built over by now...? Mafia finally win...)
LadySawall: I'm not sayin' nothin'.
ineffableangel: And you can tell him IC that it's not a good idea, or we can actually go and visit the place. Anyway. Just saying that it hasn't been dealt with for his character. We could do that in the beginning of August and make it a sort of momentous occasion for Azi, a year to the date and all.
hopeakaarme: Anything for Remus?
ineffableangel: Getting OT. Um. I know what Remus needs to do but a lot of it has to do with Sirius and Harry. Neither of which are around! He also needs to meet Mictain, which he could probably do in the hospital wing.
hopeakaarme: Most likely meeting place, yes.
ineffableangel: Azi needs to finish his thread with Bel as well. It's hard to write in that space before John was rescued! I have a few more goals but they're not very cement in my head yet. Anyone is welcome to suggest one. At one point I'd like Azi and Remus to have different jobs. If Azi could do something like organize the library and staff it and be in charge of caring for the books/purchasing new ones, he'd be in heaven (not literally) but it's such a small Manor and I'm not sure it entirely makes sense as a job.
hopeakaarme: Azi definitely would be in heaven if he was appointed Heaven's official librarian... XD
ineffableangel: (And Crowley might be happier at Azi working his old schedule, which was whenever he felt like. XD) : I think that's it. There's a few other things they both will be involved in, especially if we do some big thing. Okay, someone else go now please. XD
URIEL
hopeakaarme: Okay... So, Uriel: She'll have lots of interaction with Loki. (Others, too -- I plan to start a public thread around my birthday so that she can meet other people, but Loki and she have a lot to discuss right now.)
hopeakaarme: Also, there will be the developement of the pregnancy, starting to show, etc. She'll try to avoid strange people or anyone she finds threatening... and she'll be terrified of Mictain. Lots of moodswings, too.
hopeakaarme: And, hopefully, some talking with Destruction.
ineffableangel: Are there inhabitants besides us in the Manor? Are there random guests who honestly use the Manor as a hotel?
mynamesnotgabby: That'd probably depend on Adam...
hopeakaarme: Well, there apparently are usually many people eating in the restaurant...
ineffableangel: (Personally, I think we should totally collaborate on a thread that describes Mr. and Mrs. Brown overnight stay in Tadfield Manor... XD)
saunteredvaguely: I could rationalize it either way. Why do you ask?
ineffableangel: Just because I had assumed there was, and now I'm not so sure.
hopeakaarme: There can't be, actually. Adam told Uriel that as long as he avoided Harry, he could fly. That sort of implies there aren't others around who don't know about angels.
LadySawall: It was supposedly a convention center.
saunteredvaguely: If I had my druthers, I'd say no, actually, because Adam wouldn't want to expose normal people to potential harm, but I can go with the group on this one.
ineffableangel: I'm fine either way, actually, just curious. I can see it like that... (What, we're harmful? XD)
LadySawall: Given some of the other stuff that's happened, it might be best to say no.
ineffableangel: (*teas*) Okay, so no. Np.
saunteredvaguely: If Uriel isn't telling Pestilence about the baby until after it's born, doesn't that kind of prevent Pestilence's player from using her character in the Manor for another, what, six or seven months? Seems unfair to ban her from NO for that length of time.
hopeakaarme: Pestilence will find out about the baby like all the others. He just won't know it's his.
ineffableangel: Uh. Who else would he think Uriel's been sleeping with a few months ago? *missed something?*
hopeakaarme: To his knowledge, he has never slept with Uriel when she's female. Also, Uriel got pregnant a few weeks after they broke up.
ineffableangel: She what?
mynamesnotgabby: So... how is it even his, then?
ineffableangel: Hang on. What?
LadySawall: ?
LadySawall: Got pregnant, or found out she was pregnant?
mynamesnotgabby: And how is she even pregnant, if she was always a he?
ineffableangel: Okay. We accepted that a female angel can get pregnant, supporting evidence with the Nephilim...
hopeakaarme: They broke up sometime in the beginning of April. On Good Friday (or Good Saturday -- the dating's a bit shaky) Uriel got so depressed that he turned female, disguised herself, and went looking for Pestilence.
hopeakaarme: Although he noticed similarities, he doesn't know that "Angela" was Uriel.
ineffableangel: Doesn't "Angela" resemble the current Uriel?
hopeakaarme: Well, she makes a female effort, so that kind of makes her female, right? And Uriel is androgynous as a rule, so he could just as easily be female or male.
mynamesnotgabby: They're all androgynous as a rule.
hopeakaarme: Yes, she resembles her. However, there are some differences, and as far as Pestilence knows, Uriel would have no reason to lie to him. He also keeps thinking that Uriel can't possibly want him.
hopeakaarme: With some lessons in convincing lying from Odin, Uriel should be able to convince him that the kid isn't his.
ineffableangel: Exactly. I missed most of a lot was going on in NO throughout April/May. Okay. Is he going to have someone to blame it on?
saunteredvaguely: (I do kind of wish you all had mentioned this earlier... XP)
hopeakaarme: Some random nameless angel she supposedly met on Easter. Of course, once the baby's born, it's going to be kind of obvious it isn't a full angel, but by then Pestilence will know the truth so it doesn't really matter.
hopeakaarme: (Mentioned what?)
saunteredvaguely: (The stuff about angel physiology.)
mynamesnotgabby: (It's probably one of those things we should have worked out as a group.)
hopeakaarme: (Perhaps, but... Well, if angels are sexless by default, it wouldn't really make sense if they could only make one kind of an effort, right? So the gender can't really be pre-set...)
saunteredvaguely: (I voiced my objections to the idea at the time, but none of the other angels said anything so I capitulated to the group.
saunteredvaguely: I still don't think an angelic pregnancy is possible or likely, but I've shut up about it because I didn't want to annoy people.)
hopeakaarme: (Well, at least demon pregnancy is possible.)
saunteredvaguely: (Had we talked about it at the time, though, as a group and decided what was and was not possible amongst the angels and demons, this wouldn't be an issue.)
LadySawall: At this point I think we're just going to have to stick with precedent.
mynamesnotgabby: Yeah, there's not a lot we can do about it now. I understand you, though, Crowley, I pictured it all working differently, myself...
saunteredvaguely: (Ellie is a succubus from a different canon...) I know we have to stick with it, I'm just frustrated that the points are coming up now when we could have discussed them before.
mynamesnotgabby: Should have discussed them before, probably.
ineffableangel: (I'm with John atm.) See, I remember discussing it before. With Gabs and Crowley certainly, if not John. However, I'm not sure how long that was ago, and not how it pertains to pregnancy.
saunteredvaguely: Well, I didn't want to sound too demanding. XD But it's not just pregnancy. What about things like wing span?
saunteredvaguely: Azi, you wrote the other day that Aziraphale's wings were 16' wide. That seems huge to me, but we've never talked about it.
ineffableangel: There is a steadfast rule that no one makes any assumptions about their type of being without having group agreement about it.
ineffableangel: Oh, um, that was fact. But you'd also have to have an eight-foot sternum and um. Humans can't fly. But mathematically you can work out wingspan of humans. Um. I can change it?
hopeakaarme: Well, the group pretty much okayed the pregnancy... And you didn't seem too reluctant when I talked with you, Crowley.
mynamesnotgabby: I don't remember the group okaying the pregnancy. I wasn't even aware we discussed it.
saunteredvaguely: I voiced my concerns and was overruled. I wasn't going to press the issue then. I prefer my head to stay in its current shape.
hopeakaarme: It was discussed in chat, and nobody said "Never going to happen".
hopeakaarme: I'm sorry if it upsets you. I kind of understand where you are coming from. However, this gives some kind of a personal goal to Uriel -- without it her life wouldn't have much point.
saunteredvaguely: I'm not going to tell you how you should play your character, Muri. That's not what this is about.
mynamesnotgabby: Hmm. Well, for future reference, I personally think decisions this big should be discussed in MP, where everyone - or at least all of one kind of being - will get a chance to discuss it and think it over
mynamesnotgabby: Chat's rather biased to who happens to show up at the time.
ineffableangel: Yeah. We can advertise all we like and tell everyone to be here but there's only five now and three of us are mods.
saunteredvaguely: We'll post this on MP and let people comment if they want.
hopeakaarme: And four are in the OT5. :P
mynamesnotgabby: Well, that's fine, but I mean stuff like the pregnancy. That sort of affects all of us.
saunteredvaguely: That's not our fault. Everyone was invited. It's just coincidence.
mynamesnotgabby: And it's not like we don't have individual opinions, obviously.
hopeakaarme: I know, I know...
MICTAIN
hopeakaarme: Anyway, if that was all for now... Mictain: Dragged to the Manor by Neville the Smart Imp and Luna. He's going to be pretty badly beaten, so I think he's going to stay in the hospital wing for some time. Once Mic's on his feet again, he'll probably terrify Uriel and keep an eye on Neville. Meet Remus at some point, too. Other than that, I've no idea. His existence for the last two millennia has pretty much revolved around Raphael, and now that Raphael's not there... He'll try to keep out of trouble, though; he has no desire to go back to Hell.
ineffableangel: Is he going to go back to romance novel writing? Even after the laptop... thingy... nm. XD
ineffableangel: Oh, well, maybe he's lost his passion for that. *wonders what he could get up to then?*
hopeakaarme: XD Well, while he's still not smart, Mictain's not exactly as slow as Michael. He's actually figured out that he is not meant to be an author. It doesn't mean he can't dream, of course.
ineffableangel: Well, Remus will be there for the full moon anyway, so as long as Mictain's there one night... I thought Mictain was going to be kept under under guard. Actively terrifying Uriel would be violating Adam's agreement to let him back in the Manor...? I guess...? I dunno?
ineffableangel: Even getting freedom of movement is kind of O.o. Omniscient Adam or not...
hopeakaarme: I don't know if it counts as "actively" if his mere presence is enough to scare Uriel...
ineffableangel: But I don't know the plans there. That would be passively...
saunteredvaguely: We'll have to have an Adam/Mic thread while he's recovering in hospital.
LadySawall: I was just gonna say, he wouldn't necessarily have to *do* anything overtly terrifying. Ellie will be scared of him just because he's The Entity Formerly Known as Michael.
hopeakaarme: Adam? You agreed to let Mic back, but what exactly will be his position in the Manor? Can he go around freely?
ineffableangel: Remember that idea I mentioned last night, Muri? What if one of the things it could do is frame Mic and make his life a bigger hell than it currently is...
ineffableangel: We could drug him.
saunteredvaguely: That's why we need to do that thread. I don't know yet. I can't exactly limit you, because it wouldn't be fair to you as a player. But I need to think of a way to jive that with Adam's sensibilities.
hopeakaarme: *claps hands* A splendid idea! ...If we can find an annoyance somewhere.
